Historical video of Avalon and Clareville

This beautiful video of Avalon and Clareville contains historical photos, some almost 100 years old. EB Studios made nitrate negatives of around 500 NSW scenes from 1917–1946, firstly by John H Enemark and, after he died, Anne M Enemark, hence the Enemark Collection. The National Library of Australia is digitising them, an interesting story in itself because the negatives are up to 2700 mm long (9 feet). About 25 of these images are of the Pittwater area and some could have been taken as early as 1917. PittwaterPathways has put together this video using images of Avalon and Clareville. You may recognise some of the trees, wharfs and houses.
